THE MISSION THAT REWROTE THE HISTORY BOOKS

Let me be direct with you, because that's what we do here at the USA Herald: Operation Midnight Hammer was one of the greatest single military strike operations in the history of the United States Air Force. Period. Full stop. You will not hear that said loudly enough on cable news so I'm going to say it here, loudly, and I'm going to make sure every American who loves this country knows exactly what happened on the night of June 21-22, 2025.

Seven B-2 Spirit stealth bombers, more than a third of the entire B-2 fleet lifted off from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri and flew east. They flew for 18 consecutive hours. They refueled mid-air three times. They communicated as little as possible. They crossed into Iranian airspace with fighter escorts ready to draw any surface-to-air response and when those B-2s arrived over Fordow and Natanz, Iran didn't fire a single shot. Not one. Our pilots were so far ahead of the enemy in every measurable way that the enemy didn't even try.

THE WEAPONS THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

This was also the first time in history the United States deployed its most powerful conventional weapon the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator, or MOP in an actual combat operation. These are 30,000-pound bunker-busting bombs engineered specifically for one purpose: to reach deep underground and destroy facilities that were built to be indestructible. Fordow wasn't just a nuclear facility. It was buried inside a mountain. Iran spent years and billions of dollars making it survive an attack exactly like the one our men and women just pulled off. Six B-2s dropped two MOPs each directly into Fordow's ventilation shafts, the first bombs to blow open the concrete covers, the next four to drive deep into the facility. A seventh B-2 hit Natanz. Simultaneously, a U.S. submarine launched over two dozen Tomahawk cruise missiles at Isfahan's nuclear complex.

THE CORPORATE MEDIA WON'T SAY IT, SO WE WILL

Here's where I want to get real with you, because I'm tired of watching America's finest get shortchanged by people who have never served a day in uniform and never will. CNN, MSNBC, and the rest of the corporate media apparatus spent more airtime debating the precise definition of "obliterated" than they spent honoring the crews who executed the most complex long-range bombing mission in modern American history. Think about what these aviators actually did: they flew halfway around the world, penetrated one of the most heavily theorized air defense environments on the planet, dropped the most powerful conventional bombs ever used in combat and not one aircraft was lost. Not one pilot. Not one crew member.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Dan Caine stated clearly: "Initial battle damage assessments indicate that all three sites sustained extremely severe damage and destruction."

The Israel Atomic Energy Commission assessed that the strikes had "set back Iran's ability to develop nuclear weapons by many years." Even retired Gen. David Petraeus, who is no Trump cheerleader, acknowledged the CIA's assessment of "severe damage" to Iran's nuclear program.

THE STRATEGIC RESULT: SILENCE FROM TEHRAN

Now look at where we stand today. The critics said Iran would retaliate with apocalyptic fury. The doomsayers predicted World War III. The pundits on the left predicted chaos and catastrophe. And what actually happened? The ceasefire held. Iran is not firing ballistic missiles at Israel or American bases. Their proxies Hezbollah, the Houthis, the Iraqi militias have been significantly degraded. And now, Iran's air defenses have been completely gutted. Their Navy is no longer a meaningful offensive threat. Their air force sits as a pile of rubble, completely wiped-out. And instead of mobilizing for a counterattack, the Iranian government is sitting at a negotiating table.

Let the critics carve out their fine print. Let them write their technical footnotes about enrichment timelines and centrifuge counts. I'll tell you what I know: America hit what it aimed at, with weapons no adversary on earth can replicate, flown by men and women who are the best military aviators this world has ever produced and we're all still here, safe and free, to have this conversation. That's the story. That's the victory.

A DEBT WE OWE THEM

Texas Congressman Tony Gonzales has already introduced legislation proposing a new Iranian Campaign Medal Act to establish a military service medal to be issued to members of the Armed Forces who served in support of operations related to the Iran-Israel War, including Operation Midnight Hammer.

That is exactly the right instinct. Senator Ted Cruz said the operation "went far in foreclosing" the threat of an Iranian nuclear arsenal. Former Ambassador Mark Wallace and others called it "one of the most important decisions of the 21st century."

Here at the USA Herald, we don't need to wait for Congress. We want to say it now, plainly and proudly: to every aviator, every crew chief, every intelligence analyst, every tanker pilot who kept those B-2s in the air, every submarine crew member who launched those Tomahawks - you did something extraordinary. You flew 36 hours round-trip, you hit your targets with precision the world has never seen, and you came home. America sees you. And we will not let the fake news media bury what you accomplished.

Operation Midnight Hammer will go down in the history books as one of the greatest strategic maneuvers of all time and the men and women who flew it deserve every bit of credit that the corporate media refuses to give them.
