“Last-minute shoppers are looking forward to the weekend this year to finalize their shopping plans before the big day,” Prosper Executive Vice President of Strategy Phil Rist said. “They are making sure to research everything from shipping deadlines to the best deals. Some are already looking to the days after Christmas to find treasures in the clearance bins.”
For shoppers waiting until after Christmas to buy all their gifts, they can expect to see plenty of good deals and sales. Clothes and accessories will make up the majority of post holiday deals. But you can also expect to see major sales on holiday decor, exercise equipment, and video games. And if you’re quick enough, you can find electronic deals better than Cyber Monday and Black Friday at national retailers.
