For months on end now, the world has been watching the legal case surrounding Andrew Tate, along with his younger brother and others who are known to them. Romanian law enforcement arrested Tate in December 2022 on account of rape, human trafficking, and organized crime allegations.
He remained in detention until March when Romania granted him house arrest. For months, speculations existed about what the Eastern European nation truly had on Tate. Likewise, questions emerged about whether or not Romania would bring any charges against him.
Today, Romania delivered. Andrew Tate, Tristan Tate, and two female associates of theirs now face indictments on charges of human trafficking, rape, and creating an organized crime group to exploit women.
What to know about the indictment
From 2021 onward, Romania maintains that Andrew Tate, with the help of his brother and female accomplices, lured women to his home. This allegedly happened with both Tate brothers telling women they wanted romantic relationships and marriages with them.
