Taylor Swift’s Legal Battle with Jet Tracker: Privacy, Safety and Doxxing

Taylor Swift, the pop sensation who recently made history at the Grammy Awards, finds herself embroiled in a legal dispute. Jet tracker, Jack Sweeney, 23, is a college student who has developed methods for tracking the private jet movements of high-profile individuals.

Sweeney, a junior at the University of Central Florida, gained prominence in 2022 for his project that monitors and shares the flight information of celebrities, politicians, and billionaires across various social media platforms.

In response, Swift’s lawyers have repeatedly demanded that Sweeney cease his activities, citing concerns for the pop star’s safety. They argue that by publicly disclosing her travel plans, Sweeney exposes Swift to potential stalkers and harassers.
