Take berrisexual, for example. Urban Dictionary describes it as attraction primarily to women, feminine-aligned genders, and androgynous individuals, with only rare attraction to men or masculine genders. In short, attraction can span all genders, but not equally.
Then there’s neptunic, sometimes called nomascsexual. This term refers to people attracted exclusively to women, feminine-aligned non-binary people, and neutral non-binary individuals — but not to men or masculine-aligned non-binary people.
Keeping up with these sexuality terms isn’t about memorization. It’s about understanding that human attraction is complex, personal, and deserving of language that reflects it accurately. And for many, aegosexuality is exactly that language.
