People love this movie and are enthralled by not just the life of theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, but also how his work led to the inception of nuclear weapons.
Long, but worth every minute
Even some of the most enthusiastic moviegoers may cringe at the notion of a three-hour film. However, Oppenheimer never ceases to deliver suspense or keep audiences captivated and curious about what will happen next.
Cillian Murphy’s performance in the lead role also shows the many depths and layers of Oppenheimer’s character, passion for knowledge, and devotion to his work.
Outside of the significant part he played in the Manhattan Project, viewers will find themselves intrigued by Oppenheimer’s personal relationships, his communist leanings, and other factors that truly dive into the character’s humanity.
