For the record, their professional backgrounds do differ widely, and a connection to aerospace or nuclear work does not, by itself, establish involvement with unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAP.

Her technical accomplishments are documented independently of the disappearance. Boeing identified her professionally as Monica Jacinto and credited her with co-inventing Mondaloy, a strong, burn-resistant alloy developed for aerospace applications. William Neil McCasland, a retired Air Force major general and astronautical engineer, disappeared from his Albuquerque home on February 27, 2026. McCasland also had an association with Tom DeLonge’s To The Stars organization. However, his wife, Susan McCasland Wilkerson, described that involvement as brief and unpaid, and disputed claims that he possessed special UFO knowledge.

Anthony Chavez, a retired Los Alamos National Laboratory worker, was reported missing in May 2025 and remains in New Mexico’s database. Reporting based on police records describes his vehicle and personal belongings being found at home, with subsequent searches failing to locate him. Steven Abel Garcia was last seen in Albuquerque on August 28, 2025, according to his state missing-person listing. Published reporting describes him as a contractor and property custodian associated with the Kansas City National Security Campus’s Albuquerque operation. New Mexico DPS.

An important correction concerns Melissa Casias, the Los Alamos administrative assistant included in earlier coverage. For UFO disclosure, the clearest documented consequence is increased congressional scrutiny.
