Assassination Attempt Details

Ferrier’s plot escalated when she attempted to drive across the U.S.-Canada border at the Peace Bridge Border Crossing in Buffalo, New York.

Her vehicle concealed a gun, a knife, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. Her intent was to get close enough to Trump to kill him.

During her trial, Ferrier portrayed herself as a “peaceful and genuinely kind person” who was merely an “activist” combating unfairness and abuse of power.

But her actions spoke volumes to U.S. District Judge Dabney Friedrich who said “That isn’t really activism. I hope you have no desire to continue on this path.”

Prosecutor Michael Friedman affirmed, “There is absolutely no place for politically motivated violence in the United States of America. There is no excuse for threatening public officials or targeting our public servants.”
