On Monday, Brian Laundrie’s sister, Cassie, came forward. First, she spoke to protestors outside her home. Then she followed up media interviews. She says that she has been cooperating with authorities since September 11th, the day that she found out Gabby was missing. And she doesn't know if her parents are helping Brian in his mysterious disappearance.

When Brian disappeared last month his parents were the last to see him before his disappearance.

The tragic story of Gabby Pettito has been in the headlines for a month. The missing #vanlife woman’s body was found thanks to online tips from YouTubers. Meanwhile her fiance, Brian returned alone to the Florida home they shared with his parents. He was driving her van and allegedly using her credit cards from August 28th to September 1st.

Her parents, the Petito’s were desperate to locate her. But Brian and his parents were instructed not to talk by an attorney. And they did not respond to the Petito family. Cassis says they didn’t mention anything to her, either.

Gabby was finally reported missing on September 11th.

Parents not talking to Brian Laundrie’s sister

Cassie says she is frustrated and wants answers. And her parents aren’t talking to her. 

She claims that she has only seen Brian twice since he returned home. The first time was September 1st when he appeared with her parents to visit. And the last time she saw Brian was during a family camping trip on September 6 in Fort De Soto Park in Pinellas County, FL. She claims her family was acting totally normal at the time. And her family just dropped in for a few hours. 

Brian Laundrie’s sister says she had no idea that Gabby didn’t return from the van trip. And she wishes Brian had come to her rather than her parents. She maintains he should give himself up. 

She believes that her parent’s lawyer has given them bad advice. And has thrown her under the bus by saying that she was on the camping trip. She maintains that the FBI has had all this information since September 11th when they contacted her. And that was the first day she was made aware that Gabby was missing.

Cassie denies knowing if her parents have helped Brian hide. She wishes that they would come forward, to tell the truth. And she says that would be true justice for Gabby.

She shared photos she took of Brian at the campground. He appears to be playing with her children (his nephews). And he is looking happy and nonchalant. These photos were taken 5 days before Gabby was reported missing. And about 9 days after she was murdered. 

There have been reports that Brian has been seen, but none of them are confirmed. The latest sighting was made on the Appalachian Trail by a hiker.
