The real Slim Shady has joined the list of NFT collectors by owning a nonfungible token art created by the popular arts creator The Bored Ape Yacht Club.

Marshall Mathers, a rapper entrepreneur, and entertainer who is famous as Eminem has poured $462,000 into NFTs. The rapper bought an NFT ape drawing and added it to his Twitter profile picture.

Eminem’s move to enroll in the crypto-assets space is considered a major push to the blockchain space. Although the industry is still in its infancy, major artists, soccer players and singers have joined the party including Snoop Dogg and Paris Saint Germain’s player Neymar Jr.

Eminem’s Shady Holdings alias on OpenSea owns 22 NFTs with eight NFTs bought at the start of 2022. The most expensive asset among Eminem’s holdings is the BAYC NFT which costs around 123 Ether.

The artistic bears a huge resemblance to Eminem. For instance, his ape wears a hat identical to the one that the rapper usually wears. His ape also wears what seems like a gold chain.
