The alleged security chief of Dominion Voting Systems, Eric Coomer, is a virulent President Donald Trump hater and has many fans of the president questioning how fair Dominion can be.

In order to be fair, we must state at the start of this story that the things said by Coomer, and his involvement in Dominion, are all alleged.

But it was enough for former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani to mention the alleged security chief, though he did not mention him by name, when he was interviewed by Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures” this weekend.

“I don’t think people have any idea of the dimension of the national security problem that Dominion creates. This Dominion company is a radical-left company,” the former mayor said.

“One of the people there is a big supporter of Antifa and has written horrible things about the president for the last three or four years,” he said.

Giuliani went on to question Dominion as a company and alleged that the votes of American citizens are sent overseas to be counted.

“The software that they use is done by a company called Smartmatic, a company that was founded by [Hugo] Chávez and by Chávez’s two allies, who still own it. And it’s been used to cheat in elections in South America. It was banned by the United States several — about a decade ago,” Giuliani said.

“It’s come back now as a subcontractor to other companies. It sort of hides in the weeds. But Dominion sends everything to Smartmatic.

“Can you believe it? Our votes are sent overseas. They are sent to someplace else, some other country. Why do they leave our country?” he said.

On its fact check page, Smartmatic has said that there is no truth to that rumor.

“Two of the founders, Antonio Mugica and Roger Piñate, continue to run the company as CEO and President, respectively,” it said. “The majority of shares (83%) are held by SGO, a company owned by the Mugica and Piñate families. The remaining shares are held by employees (10%) and angel investors (7%).”

“Smartmatic’s software is not licensed or otherwise used by other companies,” it said.

But back to Coomer and what he has allegedly done. The Gateway Pundit shared much of the story.

In 2010 Eric Coomer joined Dominion as Vice President of U.S. Engineering. According to his bio, Coomer graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics.

Eric Coomer was later promoted to Voting Systems Officer of Strategy and Security although Coomer has since been removed from the Dominion page of directors.
