While the Oort Cloud comet is unlikely to be visible in daylight, Cooke suggests watching for it at twilight, when the sky is dark but not yet fully black.
A Celestial Event to Remember
As the comet speeds away from Earth, it will disappear from view by mid-November, heading back into the distant regions of the solar system for the next 80 millennia.
For those lucky enough to catch a glimpse of this rare comet, it’s a sight not to be missed.
Be sure to head outside after sunset and look westward for a once-in-a-lifetime view of this ancient traveler the Oort Cloud Comet.
