Psychic Warriors
Project Star Gate aimed to cultivate a group of “psychic warriors” to penetrate the veil of secrecy surrounding enemy installations, manipulate physical phenomena, and glimpse into the future.
The program, shrouded in secrecy, operated initially within a California research lab before relocating to an Army base in Maryland. Through rigorous scientific scrutiny, these alleged psychic abilities underwent painstaking and diligent testing, with the government investing millions to validate their authenticity.

In 2017, the CIA declassified some 12 million pages of records many of which are available on the Freedom of Information Act Electronic Reading Room. These documents reveal previously unknown details about the program, which would eventually become known as Project Star Gate.
