Subway Slammed With Class Action Lawsuit Alleging False Advertisement

The woman initiated this litigation after purchasing a meal from the fast food chain, only to allegedly discover about 200% less meat on her steak and cheese sandwich than what’s reflected in ads. As a result of this, Tollison is accusing Subway of providing the public with food that’s “lower in value” than marketed.

In the litigation, the Queens resident cites her reported findings as disturbing due to the inflation crisis that’s rapidly outpacing income for some Subway customers.

This lawsuit against Subway may be over before it really begins

Despite the serious nature of a class action lawsuit, it’s possible that Tollison’s case won’t go anywhere. Lawsuits of this temperament don’t have very good track records, either.

In 2017, a class action lawsuit accusing Subway of lying about the length of its one-foot-long sandwiches was ultimately tossed out. The judge overseeing the case ultimately determined it was both “worthless” and “out of hand.”

Moving forward, only time will tell whether or not these latest claims of false advertisement prove damaging to Subway.
