A peaceful high school graduation in Daly City turned violent Friday afternoon when a 15-year-old boy allegedly stabbed a 21-year-old man during a large fight outside Westmoor High School.

The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. as families and friends were celebrating the milestone. Police say the fight involved multiple people, and during the chaos, the teenager allegedly attacked the victim with a deadly weapon.

The 21-year-old was found at the scene with non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The suspect was quickly arrested, and the weapon was recovered.

According to the Jefferson Union High School District, the victim had no connection to the school or the graduation ceremony.

No other injuries were reported.
