Joining YouTube and Google in parting ways with certain employees are Amazon and Twitch.
Earlier this month, Amazon got rid of hundreds of workers who managed studio and streaming operations. Twitch likewise slashed over 500 positions as a means of reducing overhead and boosting overall profits.
