Joe Biden’s polling numbers haven’t been the greatest lately. Since the war in Israel broke out, the president’s earned the ire of the Democrat Party’s pro-Palestine wing. Many Democrats in this camp aren’t too pleased with Biden openly supporting Israel and affirming its right to self-defense.
As the president and his team wrestle with a dip in support amongst Democrats, their list of problems keeps growing. In recent weeks, various polls have shown Biden neck-in-neck with Trump across different states. In some of these polls, Trump’s even led Biden by a few points.
While all this transpires, certain Democrats are getting nervous that if the 2024 presidential election comes down to Biden vs. Trump again, the president won’t prevail. It is this very concern that inspired Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips to start his own candidacy to win the Democrat Party’s nomination.
Despite the growing challenges for Biden, his team is looking to put concerns regarding his political viability to bed.
