The latest batch of declassified UFO documents is barely four days old, and the disclosure community is not waiting around. Researchers, investigators, and millions of curious eyes are already locked on one question: when does the next wave of government secrets hit?

The answer, according to one of the most prominent voices in UFO journalism, may come sooner than expected.

A Two-Week Drumbeat of Disclosure

Journalist and UFO expert Jeremy Corbell appeared on NewsNation's "Elizabeth Vargas Reports" on Tuesday, delivering a timeline that will have disclosure advocates circling their calendars.

"The Trump administration is saying that they're going to release UFO files every two weeks," Corbell said, pointing to June 5 as the likely date for the next scheduled drop of groundbreaking government disclosures.

But Corbell was quick to reframe the narrative around who deserves credit for these releases. In his view, this is not a story of government transparency coming from within. It is a story of journalism forcing power to act.

Pressure, Not Policy

Corbell, the documentarian behind the film "Sleeping Dog," which chronicles his relentless campaign to push federal officials into releasing information on unidentified aerial phenomena, argued that the scheduled disclosures exist because reporters refused to back down.

"It's my duty and George Knapp's duty to report what it is that these whistleblowers have told us," Corbell said, referencing renowned Las Vegas investigative reporter and KLAS journalist George Knapp, a globally recognized figure in unexplained phenomena reporting. "That's the duty of a journalist: to obtain and release material that is in the public interest, no matter who it helps or who it hurts."

That standard, Corbell made clear, demands rigorous verification. He described a painstaking process of authenticating leaked UFO videos before any government official confirms them, one that consumes many hours, relies on a network of trusted sources, and requires reporters to draw a hard line between personal belief and cold, documented fact.

"Beliefs are burdens," Corbell said. "Facts are foundations."

Retaliation, Risks, and Resolve

The road to disclosure has not been without personal cost. When asked whether his reporting had triggered retaliation, Corbell did not flinch. He described what he called "underhanded" responses from unnamed parties, including actions that reached beyond him and touched his own family.

Yet he stood firm. Protected under the First Amendment, Corbell signaled that no amount of pressure would slow the investigation down.

If anything, he suggested, the intensity is about to surge.

"It's Going to Be Quite the Summer"

For the millions tracking the UFO disclosure story, Corbell left a message that reads less like a news update and more like a warning to pay close attention.

"It's going to get exciting. Keep your eyes open. Pay attention," he said. "I think it's going to be quite the summer."

With a potential new file release on June 5 and a two-week disclosure cycle now reportedly in motion, the question is no longer whether more secrets will surface. The question is what they will reveal.
