Just last week, disturbing video footage emerged online of Jewish students attending Cooper Union college barricaded inside of a library. On the other side of the library, pro-Palestine supporters shouted and banged on the doors separating them from the Jewish students.

Jews attending Cooper Union have already spoken out about the incident. They explained feeling fearful and admitted they don’t know what would have happened if pro-Palestine demonstrators managed to breach the library’s doors.

Then, just this past weekend, the world got wind of threats made online against Jewish students attending Cornell University. Law enforcement is now investigating the matter. Though the FBI is aware that the threats of violence made could constitute a hate crime.
