At least seven people have been injured after a large white box truck plowed into them on a San Francisco street on New Year’s Day.
The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. local time in the area of Geary and 21st Street, KRON reported.

Two of the victims have suffered serious injuries, according to the reports. Multiple ambulances and a fire truck have been dispatched to the scene.
“The two serious injuries have been sent to the TRUAMA center. Evaluating the 5 minor injuries. Some Victims are from the car, not all were pedestrians. On going scene AVOID AREA,” San Francisco Fire tweeted.

The department declared a “possible red alert.”

The two victims in the most serious condition are elderly. One whose condition was described as “life threatening” and another described as “serious.”
A family of five in a vehicle, with ages ranging from pre-teen to adult, suffered minor injuries.
