Affirming that he’s “just getting started,” Phillips also claimed on X that if Democrats continue on their current trajectory, this November will see Trump ultimately eke out a win against Biden.

The Minnesota congressman also appeared on Fox News to discuss recent conversations he had with Trump supporters in Rochester, New Hampshire.
Phillips, in his own words, carries the “responsibility” to reach across the aisle and speak to Republicans, Independents, and others who may not align with him on all the issues.
He also torched “Angertainment,” a political phenomenon that Phillips believes rewards officials who lean into divisiveness. As his run for president continues, the White House contender stated anyone leading America should speak with opposing voters.
Of his interactions with Republicans in New Hampshire, Phillips described them as kind, hospitable, and thoughtful. On social media, he also criticized people in his own party who believe his meeting with Trump supporters wasn’t a good call.
