The older sister was taken to the hospital. And is now being cared for by Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services.
No History of Violence
Police have not found a prior record of violence for Johnson or in the relationship.
The couple had been dating for 3 years and had lived together for over a year.
Matthew Chiricas, Chaney’s brother said the couple traveled around Europe. Chaney was in the Air Force and stationed in Italy.
Chiricas told the Daily Mail that “He was in the Air Force, but he had dreams to become a weatherman. He was just like the rest of us, trying to have fun and trying to have a family.”
“We really don’t know why this incident escalated to such violence,” Lt. Golan commented. “Looking at the history between the victim and suspect, they have been dating for a few years, but there’s no prior incidents of domestic violence reported between the two.”
A Personal Apocalypse
According to her website, Johnson, who went by the online name Daniella Ayoka, said she was a practicing shaman, an astrologer and certified reiki master teacher, “ trained in over 10 different alternative healing modalities.”
