Naturally, politicians who find their campaigns low on funds often run into major problems. A well-funded candidate has an easier time reaching voters, ensuring their name remains relevant, and countering attacks from their opponents.

The 2024 presidential election is now in full swing with Joe Biden and Donald Trump both standing as the presumptive nominees of their parties. As the general election gets closer, Biden’s camp is going after Trump on the matter of fundraising.

On Wednesday, formal election data revealed that Trump’s presidential campaign raked in $10.9 million in February, while Biden’s reelection campaign pulled $53 million last month.

With these numbers, Trump went into March with $42 million in cash on hand, while the current president kicked off the month with $155 in cash on hand.
