Justice Ginsburg battles recurrence of cancer, reports promising results

“I said that my dream is that I will stay at the court as long as he did,” Justice Ginsburg said. “And his immediate response was, ‘Stay longer!'”

Justice Ginsburg has served on the Supreme Court since 1993 — 27 years this year. 

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was released from Johns Hopkins early this week. She received treatment for an infection and to remove gallstones. She says these procedures were unrelated to her cancer treatment.
