Debating Trump
Before Biden dropped out of the 2024 race, he was set to face off against Trump in a September 10 debate. The former president previously stated he’d be willing to debate Harris. Though on Thursday, his campaign announced they would not commit to a debate until the Democrats formally select their nominee.
In response, the vice president slammed Trump. According to Harris, the former president is “backpedaling,” but she’s ready to go. She also told reports that voters deserve to see her and Trump face off on the “split screen.”
