A former executive has launched a sweeping lawsuit against MrBeast's company sexual harassment claim, accusing the media empire behind the world’s most-followed YouTuber of fostering a workplace where complaints of harassment were ignored and gender bias allegedly ran unchecked.

A High-Profile Creator Under Legal Scrutiny

The lawsuit targets Jimmy Donaldson, the 27-year-old global content creator whose online reach exceeds hundreds of millions and whose business operations employ more than 500 staff.

At the center of the complaint is former executive Lorrayne Mavromatis, who worked at Beast Industries between 2022 and 2025. She alleges systemic sexual harassment against female employees was tolerated—and in some cases ignored—within the company structure.

Allegations of Harassment and Workplace Bias

In court filings, Mavromatis claims female staff experienced harassment that was “condoned and/or perpetuated” by supervisors, while internal complaints were routinely dismissed as “unsubstantiated.”

She further alleges she was treated differently than male colleagues and ultimately removed from her position after raising concerns about what she described as a “hostile environment.”

According to the complaint, she initially joined as head of Instagram before being promoted, only to later be sidelined.

Claims of Demotion and Internal Comments

One of the most striking allegations involves comments allegedly made by former Beast Industries CEO James Warren. In court documents, Mavromatis says Warren suggested she was viewed through a sexualized lens in relation to Donaldson, allegedly stating she was “a beautiful woman and her appearance had a certain sexual effect on Jimmy.”

The lawsuit claims she was later demoted and reassigned to what employees allegedly referred to internally as the division where “careers go to die.”

She also alleges she was terminated less than three weeks after returning from pregnancy-related leave, being told she was “too high-calibre” for the role.

Emotional Distress and Damages Sought

Mavromatis says the experience caused significant emotional harm, including “mental anguish, humiliation, embarrassment,” and lasting psychological damage tied to what she describes as discriminatory workplace treatment.

She is seeking compensation for lost wages, lost benefits, reinstatement, and additional damages.

Company Denies Allegations, Calls Claim “Clout-Chasing”

Beast Industries strongly rejected the lawsuit’s claims, calling them “categorically false” and describing the filing as a “clout-chasing complaint” built on “deliberate misrepresentations.”

A company representative said they possess extensive evidence—including messages, documents, and witness testimony—that they claim directly contradicts Mavromatis’ allegations.

“We have the receipts to prove it,” the company said, adding it would not “submit to opportunistic lawyers looking to manufacture a payday.”

The company also told Variety that Mavromatis’ departure was unrelated to performance, stating that both male and female employees were affected by a broader organizational restructuring.

A Creator Facing Repeated Legal Headwinds

Donaldson, who commands more than 470 million subscribers, has faced legal controversy before. He was previously named in separate court filings related to his reality competition show Beast Games, where contestants alleged exploitation—claims he denied, calling them exaggerated.

In another instance, his team launched an investigation after a former co-host was accused of misconduct involving a minor. Lawyers later said those allegations were “without basis.”

As the latest lawsuit unfolds, the case places one of digital media’s biggest names under a growing legal spotlight—where influence, reputation, and accountability now collide.
