Suffice it to say, thoughts regarding the border wall largely differ based upon partisanship. While many of the president’s supporters and other right-wingers view the wall favorably, left-leaning Americans see matters differently. In fact, left-wingers have frequently referred to President Trump as a racist due to his desire to build the wall.
Many individuals who oppose the president moreover believe that aversion to illegal immigration is a front for discrimination against brown and Mexican immigrants. However, President Trump and his supporters have ongoingly denied charges of racism. The right-wing maintains that immigrants are more than welcome to enter America, so long as they enter legally.
Individuals who support legal immigration also note that upholding law and order is critical for the continued success of the United States of America.
