On Wednesday, Sam Altman officially reclaimed the position of CEO of OpenAI, marking a significant shift in the company’s leadership structure. 

Accompanying Altman in this return is a revamped leadership team. The move comes amidst a series of changes, with a new board and an emphasis on governance reform taking center stage.

Altman’s return as CEO brings with it a reshuffling of key positions within OpenAI. 

Greg Brockman takes on the role of President, while Mira Murati assumes the position of Chief Technology Officer. The reinstated leadership announced they will steer OpenAI into a new era, focusing on innovation, collaboration, and effective governance.
