Donald Trump sneakers were launched in Philadelphia, at an event called the “Sneakercon.” The gathering was billed as “The Greatest Sneaker Show on Earth!”

“This is something I’ve been talking about for 12 years, 13 years,” the former president said at the event. “I think it’s going to be a big success.”

Trump Sneakers Website

The "GetTrumpSneakers" website had already announced Trump’s limited-edition line of sneakers, highlighting the gold high tops which featured an American flag design. The “Never Surrender” high tops are priced at $399. As an additional incentive 10 pairs of shoes were autographed by Trump.

“Meet The Never Surrender High-Tops. Only 1000 pairs will ever be released. Each pair is numbered. A true collector's item. The First Official Sneaker by President Trump, released at SneakerCon Philadelphia on February 17, 2024. Bold, gold, and tough, just like President Trump,” the website claimed.

The collectible sneakers sold out almost immediately. 

The site also offers two other style sneakers that are priced at $199 a pair. And the "Victory 47" perfume and cologne for $99. If Trump wins his 2024 Trump run for the presidency, he would be the 47th president.

All the products must be pre-ordered ast the current time.

The website emphasizes its lack of connection to Trump's campaign. But Trump has mentioned that he sees the sneaker line as a way to engage younger supporters.

Legal Battles

Former President Trump is still surprising his loyal fans, the Biden campaign, and what has always been a highly charged universally negative media.

He stated selling Trump Sneakers the day after Judge Arthur Engoron ruled Trump must pay off a $354.9 million penalty. 

Recent legal setbacks for Trump, including Engoron’s  judgment ordering him to pay millions for property value inflation. 

Amidst mounting legal troubles with multiple criminal trials on the horizon, Trump's decision to launch a sneaker line has drawn criticism from political adversaries, including Joe Biden's campaign spokesperson Michael Tyler, who quipped that the sneaker promotions were "the closest he'll get to any Air Force Ones ever again for the rest of his life."
