A federal courtroom has become the latest arena for 50 Cent’s ongoing disputes with his ex-girlfriend, as G-Unit Books launches a million-dollar lawsuit against Shaniqua Tompkins for allegedly breaching a comprehensive life story rights agreement signed nearly two decades ago.
The legal action stems from what attorneys describe as Tompkins’ deliberate exploitation of rights she sold exclusively to 50 Cent’s publishing imprint in 2007, when she received $80,000 and future royalty promises in exchange for surrendering complete control over her personal narrative, likeness, and all related publicity opportunities.
