Armstrong Teasdale’s managing partner announced that the firm “will likely no longer have a direct physical presence in the U.K. or Europe” as it ceases future financial support for its U.K. subsidiary. The firm also aims to wrap up business in Boston and Salt Lake City by the end of September.
Shifting Focus and Seeking New Investments
Leadership at Armstrong Teasdale’s U.K. subsidiary, Armstrong Teasdale Ltd., is currently “seeking investment and other operational options,” according to managing partner Richard Engel’s statement to Law360 Pulse on Wednesday. Engel assured that this strategic move will not hinder their ability to serve international clients. “While in the coming months, the firm will likely no longer have a direct physical presence in the U.K. or Europe, we have long collaborated with international lawyers, including those employed by Armstrong Teasdale Ltd., through our various networks, and we will maintain these vital relationships to ensure seamless delivery of legal services to our clients worldwide,” he said.
