Support for Biden stepping down is clear; however, the public is not so keen on Vice President Harris stepping into the role of America’s new president. For months, polling has shown that Americans don’t have the highest views of Harris.

It’s also worth noting that the vice president temporarily disappeared from the public eye after the fallout from Afghanistan began. Shortly after Harris’ disappearance, news broke of her allegedly raging behind the scenes, stating she didn’t want to be on the hook for the consequences of Biden’s pullout.
