Capital Already in Motion

Even before the fundraising ink dried, Otro Capital had begun putting money to work.

Early Investments Signal Ambition

The firm has deployed capital into a range of sports-adjacent ventures, including:

  • Alpine Racing, a Formula 1 team competing on the global motorsport stage.

  • Two Circles, a sports data and fan engagement platform.

  • FlexWork Sports, a business focused on youth sports events and marketing.

The early investments reflect a strategy that stretches from elite international competition to grassroots athletics — a spectrum as wide as the sports industry itself.

A Global Investor Roster

Backers of the fund span continents and asset classes. Pension funds, retirement systems, wealth management platforms, endowments, foundations, family offices and strategic investors all committed capital to the inaugural fund.

“Our investors backed us because they believe we are differentiated in the sports ecosystem,” Scheiner and Stehlik said. They added that the firm’s ability to consistently align with premium rights holders and top-tier founders stems from a shared language and lived operational experience in the industry’s trenches.
