She had appeared on the iconic show for 14 years.

The alleged perpetrator, Gavin Plumb, a 36-year-old man from Essex, was apprehended on October 4th in connection with a sinister plan to harm Willoughby.

According to reports from Sky News and the BBC, Plumb appeared before Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on a grave charge: “soliciting, encouraging, persuading, endeavoring to persuade or proposing to a third party” to commit the heinous act of murder against the TV host, with the alleged intent to carry it out between Tuesday and Wednesday.

It was also reported that Plumb was in the process of assembling a “kidnap and restraint kit,” seemingly designed to facilitate the commission of the kidnapping. The ultimate aim was to hold Willoughby captive for an unidentified third party, who was expected to arrive in the UK from the United States this week.
