Trump meeting with President Moon

President Trump is still increasing the pressure on the Department of Justice. He is refusing to say whether he has confidence in Rod Rosenstein, Deputy Attorney General. This is because the White House negotiated access to classified documents for the President’s allies in the Congress.

On Tuesday, Trump had a private meeting with the President of South Korea, Moon Jae-in. Before the meeting, media asked Trump if he has confidence in Rosenstein, overseer of the Russia probe. Trump told reporters to ask him another question. Trump said that he was with the President of South Korea and that he didn’t want to hear those questions.

A Disgrace to the Country?

According to the DOJ, ardent Trump supporter David Nunes has been demanding facts on an FBI source in the Russia probe. The White House is trying to fight the threats that Robert Mueller, special counsel, poses with his investigation into possible connections between Trump’s campaign and Russia.

On Tuesday, Trump stated that if authorities prove that the FBI spied on his campaign, it will be a disgrace to the country. He added that, in this case, every political event ever would look like a small potato.

When the Meeting Will Take Place and Who’s Invited

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, White House Press Secretary, announced that there will be a meeting that will allow Republicans to review classified information from the probe. The meeting is scheduled to happen on Thursday.
