During his tenure at Sidley Austin, Rovira developed a robust expertise in restructuring and workouts, particularly on the lender and creditor side. He has represented a diverse array of clients, including financial institutions, hedge funds, and private equity firms, in intricate distress and restructuring cases.

Rovira’s decision to join Troutman Pepper was influenced by the firm’s strong capabilities in finance, financial services, energy, and insurance, as well as its comprehensive corporate legal services, covering transactional, regulatory, and litigation matters. He was also attracted by the firm’s growth prospects, including a potential merger with Locke Lord LLP.

Known for his personable and inclusive approach, Rovira values Troutman Pepper's reputation for exceptional client service and a collaborative culture. His professional journey has also included significant international experience, with positions in London and Hong Kong, where he handled cross-border restructuring matters.

Rovira holds a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and an undergraduate degree from Harvard University.
