Trump’s Response to Biden’s Comment

Trump explained that wearing the vest and arriving in a dump truck was a last-minute decision. He joked that the vest made him look thinner and could even become part of his regular wardrobe. "When they said I’d look thinner, I thought, in that case, I’ll wear it onstage," he laughed. "I may never wear a blue jacket again."

During his speech, Trump accused Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris of promoting "hate, vitriol, and retribution" in their campaign. According to Trump, Biden’s "garbage" comment reveals their true feelings about his supporters. Recently, a woman who met Trump at a McDonald's drive-thru shared a similar sentiment, describing Trump as relatable and charismatic.

Comparing Biden’s Remark to Clinton’s “Deplorables” Comment

Furthermore, Trump compared Biden’s insult to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 comment, where she called his supporters “deplorables.” He said, "Biden’s remark blows ‘deplorables’ out of the water." He added, "You can’t lead America if you don’t love Americans. You can’t be president if you hate the American people."

Trump Highlights His Support for Workers

Throughout the rally, Trump emphasized his message of unity. "Kamala and Joe may call you ‘garbage,’ but I call you the heart and soul of America," he said. He also took a moment to thank sanitation workers across the country, recognizing their hard work. "They do an incredible job and don’t get the credit they deserve," he added.

Trump then took the opportunity to poke fun at Harris, noting that she mentioned him 24 times in her recent speech in Washington, D.C. He suggested her campaign might have bused in supporters to fill the crowd.

In addition to mocking his opponents, Trump used the rally to encourage Wisconsin voters to turn out on November 5. He stressed Wisconsin’s importance, saying, "If we win Wisconsin, we’ll win the whole thing." He declared, "Nov. 5, 2024, will be liberation day in America."

Finally, Trump thanked former astronaut Buzz Aldrin for endorsing his campaign. He proudly called his coalition "the biggest, broadest, and most incredible political movement in our country’s history."
