Efforts by House Republicans to obtain answers about what Joe Biden knew and what funds he received are intensifying.

Today the official statements are shifting. And Republicans allege that the White House 'lies' in an attempt to protect President Joe Biden's reputation. 

Hunter’s shady deals hit close to home

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is shifting her language when addressing reports about Hunter's business dealings. Instead of a long-used statement that Joe and Hunter never discussed the latter's business ventures, Jean-Pierre now claims that they were never 'in business' together. 

This change in rhetoric has sparked allegations that the White House is desperately trying to distance the President from any potential controversies surrounding Hunter's activities. It is almost impossible to deny that those activities involve millions of dollars and several foreign governments during the time that his father was Vice-President.

President Joe Biden allegedly "The Big Guy"

The current White House statements, deviate from earlier denials by President Biden during his 2019 campaign. Back then, Joe Biden categorically denied he ever talked to Hunter about his business. And doubled down by claiming he didn’t know what his business was.

IRS whistleblowers have since testified under oath, revealing WhatsApp messages between Hunter and a Chinese energy official that suggest a contradiction to the President's claims. These messages indicate that Joe may have been more involved in his son's business dealings than he’s admitted.

Republicans Demand Answers

House GOP Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik and other top Republicans have penned a letter to White House Counsel Stuart Delery. She demands clarification about the altered language and seeks answers about the President's knowledge of Hunter's foreign business deals. 

So far, the White House has not responded to the letter.

Devon Archer Testimony

Devon Archer, Hunter's former business partner, is set to testify before the House Oversight Committee. 

According to reports, Archer plans to reveal that Joe Biden spoke to Hunter's business associates, including those at Burisma, on at least 24 occasions.

This directly contradicts the White House's assertion that the President had no knowledge of or involvement in his son's business affairs. 

Republicans have been actively gathering evidence to support their allegations that Hunter Biden exploited his father's position to profit from his family name, with Joe's purported complicity in these deals. 

Recent releases, such as a redacted FBI document, have intensified the scrutiny of the President's actions during his vice presidency, particularly concerning his dealings with Ukraine the Burisma energy company, and a Chinese energy official and Communist Party Leader named Henry Zhao.

The situation is poised to gain even greater attention with Archer's testimony. As Republicans persist in seeking answers and evidence to support their claims, the White House finds itself under pressure. The ongoing investigations and revelations have implications not only for the Biden administration but also for the public's perception of the President's integrity and transparency.
