Joe Tucker of Tucker Law Group, representing McCabe, issued a blistering statement dismissing the lawsuit as a baseless attempt to defame his client. Tucker argues that the lawsuit is part of a scheme by Brian Fritz to distract from his own actions during the divorce proceedings, specifically an alleged affair with McCabe’s wife. Tucker’s defense suggests that the lawsuit is more about personal vendettas than legal ethics.

"This lawsuit is the latest ploy by Brian Fritz to cover up his conduct and throw dirt at McCabe," Tucker’s statement claimed. "McCabe is committed to clearing his name and bringing the truth to light through the legal process."
