That was the year that Black Sabbath the groundbreaking English heavy metal band took to the stage. His legacy spans decades, influencing generations of musicians and fans alike.

From 2002 to 2005, his family appeared in the popular MTV reality show The Osbournes.

Despite years of declining health from Parkinson’s disease and multiple spine surgeries, Osbourne remained creatively active until the end. Several posthumous projects — including a concert film, documentary, memoir, and early recordings — are set to honor his enduring impact on music and pop culture.
