Tech influencer Marques Brownlee described flying back to the east coast in a tweet.
Flying back to the east coast is wild right now. The entire plane has started smelling like smoke and the air outside started turning red and we haven’t even landed yet. Hopefully my Canadian friends near the wildfires are all good pic.twitter.com/oq2oAHx9Gk

Canadian wildfires impacts the US
New York was the most polluted major city in the world on Tuesday night according to the IQAir website. The smoke has affected air quality for millions of people along the East Coast, as the fires continue to rage with no signs they are getting under control.
The impact of the smoke on air quality has reached hazardous levels of pollution, with central New York and northeastern Pennsylvania experiencing the worst conditions.
New York City received the dubious distinction Tuesday of having the most polluted air of any place on the planet.
On Tuesday night, New York City Mayor Eric Adams issued a statement that an Air Quality Health Advisory had been issued for all five boroughs. And while conditions were expected to improve through Wednesday morning, they were predicted to worsen again later in the day.
