LONDON — In a shocking turn of events, R&B superstar Chris Brown was arrested in the early hours of Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Manchester’s luxurious Lowry Hotel. The 36-year-old American artist faces allegations of launching an unprovoked bottle attack on producer Abraham Diaw at the trendy Tape nightclub in London’s Mayfair district on February 19, 2023. The charge? Grievous bodily harm—a serious offense under UK law that mirrors the United States’ “great bodily injury” standard, both demanding proof of severe physical damage far beyond superficial wounds. The Alleged Attack: A Brutal Encounter

According to reports confirmed by USA Herald, the incident unfolded during a Dirty Martini club night at Tape nightclub, a magnet for celebrities and influencers in London’s upscale Hanover Square. Abraham Diaw, a producer, alleges that Brown and his entourage targeted him without provocation. “He hit me over the head two or three times.
