The recalled light bars are designed as alternatives to permanently wired fixtures, particularly in areas where installing wired lights is challenging. The devices, approximately 12 inches in length, were sold individually or in packages of two, and were available in various colors including white, silver, black, almond, and rose gold. They come with a charging cable and, in some cases, a remote control and power adapter.
These light bars were sold at major U.S. hardware and home improvement stores such as Lowe’s and Ace Hardware, as well as online retailers like Amazon, from October 2017 through January 2024. The units were priced at about $20 for a single bar and around $35 for a two-pack.
