'A brief glimpse of an object near the ISS raises new questions about transparency, data integrity, and the unexplained.'

The mystery deepened this week after respected amateur astronomer DobsonianPower — known across X, YouTube, and astronomy circles for providing real-time 3I/ATLAS tracking during NASA’s shutdown — posted an analysis of NASA’s latest live feed from the International Space Station.

His footage shows what appears to be a structured, triangular object gliding slowly across the camera frame, accompanied by a faint comet-like object in the distance. I reviewed the video myself, frame by frame, and I can confirm that the object moves with intention and holds its geometry.

It displays lighting elements that appear attached to the structure, and its motion is slow, methodical, and unconcerned with the presence of a live camera — a very peculiar behavior for anything drifting freely in microgravity. It is, without question, anomalous.

But there is a problem with the narrative now spreading across social media: many are claiming NASA “abruptly cut the feed” when the object entered the frame. Despite my research and extensive review, I have not located the version of the video that includes the alleged cut. Without the full sequence, this claim cannot be substantiated.

Still, the public conversation has ignited. The circulating clip — “NASA ISS Just Leaked UFO And Cut The Feed” — has attracted both scrutiny and humor.

One skeptical X user asked, “I don't believe any of the claims made about the video. What fact-based evidence is there to support the claims? Where did the video originate? Where on the internet was it first posted and by who?”

Others took a lighter approach, with one writing, “Ok…So am I the only one who sees a Pac-Man bad guy ghost on the right side of the video a couple seconds at the beginning? That’s one of those ghost that eat you up right?”

Another viewer observed what looked like a masking effect, saying the footage showed “a large custom shape acting like a mask, where we see the light (ships?) go by in behind the blacked-out shape.”

DobsonianPower’s credibility remains high among sky-watchers and scientists alike. When NASA was shut down, he became one of the few consistent sources posting updated imagery of the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS, offering detailed nightly analysis, brightness updates, jet structure observations, and rotational notes that closely mirrored findings from observatories worldwide.

His commitment to openly sharing raw data, rather than sensationalized content, is one of the reasons his observations continue to carry weight. Whether this ISS incident turns out to be a genuine unidentified craft, a misidentified artifact, or an authentic UFO, the fact remains that the object visible in the available NASA footage does not behave like space debris or natural plasma activity.
