Here's what the numbers say
A fresh poll by American Research Group Inc. has Haley and Trump each carrying 40% support in New Hampshire. Following them is Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis who holds just 4% in the state. In the aftermath of last night's Iowa caucuses, it appears as though the Haley and Trump presidential campaigns are gearing up to go after one another with increased intensity. Today, the former UN ambassador announced she won't engage in any more debates unless Trump (or Biden) attend(s). So far, the former president has ducked every single GOP debate. There is no sign that he plans to participate in a one-on-one showdown against Haley. https://twitter.com/NikkiHaley/status/1747312066140995992 This morning, Haley also appeared on Fox News, stressing that Americans are ready to move beyond another Biden vs. Trump showdown. Throughout the former UN ambassador's presidential run, she's consistently underscored the need for a new generation of conservative leadership to emerge.The race narrows further
Within the past 24 hours, Vivek Ramaswamy and Asa Hutchinson bowed out of the GOP primary, stating the Iowa caucuses didn't pan out as either one of them anticipated. This means the race is now down to Haley, DeSantis, and Trump. In New Hampshire, Gov. Sununu maintains the primary is a "two-person race," with Haley and Trump being the only relevant candidates. The recent polling that shows both of these contenders tied with one another seems to support this point of view.
