Despite Joe Biden being an incumbent presidential candidate, many voters have reservations about whether he can or should get another four years in the White House.

Critics of the present commander-in-chief believes he's too old and dropped the ball on various policy issues, such as immigration at the southern border or the war in Israel.

Biden's also come under fire from some of his supporters who expected their student loans to be fully forgiven after he got into office.

As the 2024 presidential election plays out, more polls continue to reveal American voters' thoughts, concerns, and views about the country. A new one from Harvard CAPS-Harris shows that most people want to see Special Counsel Robert Hur's full report on the current president.

Americans are not mincing words

Harvard CAPS-Harris found that a notable 76% of Americans believe Hur's findings on Biden deserve a full release. They feel that concerns about Biden's age, his alleged handling of classified records, and other matters should be available for the public to review.

Interestingly enough, this belief holds firm across the political spectrum. The majority of Independents (73%), Republicans (91%), and Democrats (64%) want Hur's report out in the open.

Further details from Harvard CAPS-Harris reveal only 24% of the country believes the special counsel's findings should remain under wraps.

Weeks ago, Hur made headlines for suggesting or inferring that Biden's mental state lessens his capacity for malicious wrongdoing with classified documents.

To this end, 69% of Americans believes the nation should openly hash this out.

Should we expect a release of Hur's findings?

At this time, the jury is still out. Currently, the White House remains undecided on whether or not it will reveal the special counsel's report.

Nevertheless, concerns about Biden's age and his handling of policies like immigration persist as major thorns in his side. Other recent surveys revealed that most Americans are not happy at the prospect of seeing Biden face off against former President Trump once more.

In the meantime, officials and voters on both side of the aisle have begun advocating for age caps on the presidency, mental competency tests, and other additional safeguards.
