According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CSPC), Macy's and Lowe's remain among the top retailers that sold these models from August 2016 to December 2022. The CSPC also advises people with any of the above-listed vacuum cleaners to directly contact Bissell.

This recall of over 150,000 Bissell vacuum cleaners comes after several of their batteries started going up in flames.
