Deceived by his own propaganda, the commander-in-chief of the state of Russia came to give the people of independent Ukraine the “Russian peace”. As a result, for 8 bloody years, such peace has already taken the lives of tens of thousands of people.

My name is Marusya. I live in Kyiv. I’m sharing a story that we write with blood, health, and hope.

I have three jobs and three different types of volunteering. Also a recent stroke and an uncertain future.

And I do what I can. Like all my people.

Someone is now fighting on the front lines. And someone is bringing him provisions and uniforms. At the same time, another person evacuates his old relatives from dangerous places. And the other sells his property to put equipment on the front line.

None of these people had known each other until recently. And now they are each other's most important comrades-in-arms.

We have always been very important to each other here. Everyone who has visited Ukraine will definitely notice that its people are cheerful, erudite, and extremely sincere.

Even though our souls are on fire right now. But our spirit is unshakable and immortal. He is alive as long as our history is known.

Today we tell the world about how everything can change in one minute. And only they will remain — love and responsibility.

This is the Point of Hamlet. You either tremble or use your right to freedom. The freedom to be responsible and to love. Everything is simple. We will die or live together. We have chosen a common destiny. We are the trees that will die standing or remain a beautiful garden.

We feel like a sports team that defends the honor of the whole world in a match for good. Yes, we know that this world is not exactly with us. That a colossal part of it is actually against us. But we are used to it and know how to live with it. We have seen a lot.

I'm 36 years old. And for the first time, I'm glad that I don't have children yet. Over the years, I remember how someone's invisible hand ruined our country, the USSR. Then the cholera epidemic raged — someone successfully carried out a terrorist attack. There were many other epidemics, quite mysterious ones. I remember quite well ten revolutions of various sizes. Yes, I have already forgotten how Chernobyl exploded, but my body sometimes sends memories in the form of pain.

Now I have many new impressions about life. It's like I'm in the ocean. It envelops with the warmth of mutual support. Yes, there are sharks lurking here, but my pack has bayraktars.
