Resort Pushes Back

In a statement, Amrit Ocean Resort said the disputes are being overstated and do not directly implicate the resort’s core operations.

“The matters referenced do not directly involve the resort and relate to third parties,” the resort said. “Given the indirect nature of the resort’s involvement and that these matters remain under legal review, we are unable to provide any additional information.”

Contractors Claim Unpaid Work

Legal pressure is also coming from the construction side. Two contractors who worked on the Amrit towers have filed lawsuits alleging they were not paid more than $100,000 for labor and materials supplied during construction. Those claims add a financial dimension to a dispute already marked by dissatisfaction from residents.

Several residents claim the city of Riviera Beach has rejected their homestead exemption applications — even though the condominiums serve as their primary residences — because of unresolved documentation issues.
