During another segment of Biden’s speech, he spoke, yet again, about a nationwide mandate for Americans to wear facial coverings. The former vice president stated on Thursday night that should he win the election, he will implement a national face mask edict via executive order.
While the former vice president attempted to sell himself as a great candidate for president, he also managed to make yet another flub. Biden professed before the nation that “there’s never been anything we’ve been able to accomplish when we’ve done it together.”
A review of his speech transcript shows that the former vice president should have instead stated, “there has never been anything we’ve been unable to accomplish when we’ve done it together.”
Reactions to Biden’s speech
Many left-wing Hollywood celebrities wasted no time in praising the former vice president’s acceptance speech at the DNC. Actors, actresses, and talk show hosts lauded Biden, sharing the #BidenHarris2020 hashtag on Twitter several times.
